Gumtree.com has come out with a new infographic about the release of the iPad 2. The major news in this is that the original iPad has significantly come down in price and now you can get it for over £100 less than the original retail price – as the original has almost all the functionality most people need this makes it a great buy. The infographic charted the availability of second hand iPads for sale in the UK and, no surprise, the majority of them were in London: this only makes sense as this gadget has proven particularly popular with those in the marketing and communications industries which are concentrated in the City.

The iPad 2 has also made its way onto Gumtree.com’s listings and there are plenty available across the country; the cheapest iPads can be found in Exeter while Bradford surprisingly has the most expensive. There is actually quite a lot of variance between different communities with some devices up for grabs at £300 less than in other spots.

The iPad 2 was a fantastic release for Apple and it clearly generated a lot of interest; it has, however, been a strange release as the original is just a year old and still offers a lot of functionality. This infographic reflects that they are available in big numbers on the internet. So people interested in getting their hands on a tablet without paying a big price can try and snag an iPad original; the newer version is a bit dearer but bargains are clearly still there to be had. For city dwellers, there are tons of iPads for sale in London, though everybody should be able to grab one online.
